About the Founder
Mona is a tax attorney and a serial entrepreneur. After more than 25 years of practicing law, she founded Stellar 5 Legal, LLC with the goal of supporting female entrepreneurs and founders as they navigate life’s personal, financial and business milestones.
The firm is designed to empower and strengthen the lives and careers of its clients, but also, the lives and careers of the attorneys who work here. This model grew out of Mona’s own experience of building a career around her life.
Mona practices in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, business, and nonprofit law. She provides legal services to businesses and nonprofits as well as meet-you-where-you-are estate planning for the founders and owners.
In addition to practicing law, Mona is also the principal of an award-winning health care business consulting firm, Stellar 5 Consulting, LLC. She speaks, teaches, and writes about the business of healthcare, estate planning for business owners, navigating career challenges, and offers individual and organizational consulting and training.
I've used every season of my life as an opportunity to grow, and launched my own practice with the goal of helping others do the same.
I am a graduate of George Mason University (B.A. Communications), University of Connecticut School of Law (Juris Doctorate), and Georgetown University Law Center (LL.M Taxation, Certificate in Estate Planning). I am also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
